Milford CT Web Design Internship

We have an exciting opportunity for a Web Design internship. In this internship, the candidate will learn various aspects of the Web Design function through on-the-job experience. These areas include, but are not limited to creating web ready images using Adobe Photoshop, setting up email campaigns online and working with Adobe Dreamweaver.


Responsibilities will include:

• Cropping, resizing and creating web ready images using Adobe Photoshop.
• Working with Adobe Dreamweaver to set up web pages for email campaigns.
• Following a systematic process for setting up email campaigns online.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Web Design internship or related previous internship experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, basic HTML skills, and an understanding of image maps, as well as excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, reliable person with a willingness to learn.

Candidates must be enrolled in a college or university with a sophomore status or above and be able to intern at least 3 days per week. Internships are for credit only.

NMAI 2010 summer season




The National Museum of American Illustration (NMAI) in Newport Rhode Island is currently accepting applications for internships for their 2010 summer season. Duties may include visitor services, gift shop management, organization of research materials, graphic design and administrative projects.
